Only issues with the Jak and Daxter series is that Jak and Daxter are missing their eyes in all of the games, their shadows do not display, and the shine on orbs does not display. I played jak1-3 recently and tried pcsx2, it had a number of issues. rpcs3 and the jak and daxter collection provided a much better experience (other than the fire texture). Playing jak x racing on pcsx2 since there isn't a ps3 port and I'm mostly seeing rt textures and ui elements showing glitchy behavior Boards. Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. THAT'S the hidden ending?! (spoilers) orius 14 years ago #1. So I finally bust my butt and get every power cell except for that damn annoying "Launch to the Poles" cell in the Spider Cave, then head up to the citadel to check out the hidden ending. Maybe not complete but certainly a good platform shooter. I say worth it if physical or on sale digital. The emulation isn't great but they are playable. I'm not a native speaker and could not play well the first one. There are no subs and instead of talking, they are squeaking and screaming and "radio noise". To my mind, Jak 3 is the best in the series. The gameplay alone is the reason - they took everything good from Jak 2 and improved upon - light and dark eco, guns, hoverboard and we got some new fresh experiences like driving cars (I really enjoy them), riding dinos, remote controlling robots or flying the paraglider.

1 is the most perfect, solid Jak game there is. It's just pure Jak n' Daxter. The lighting and the colours and the atmosphere and the story and the gameplay they're just so well intertwined and really do a good job of coming together to provide a great game. Jak 2 tried to be different in a mostly good way.
