Just a few things i would like to add to this discussion, there are two causes of brake shimmy, or shake, when the brakes are applied. they are, 1; "DTV " disc (rotor) thickness variation, it is caused by the heating and colling cycle of the braking system and a slight build up of brake material on the rotors,

I have 122k miles on my 2005 300c. Not including my modifications and normal LOF at 3-4k miles, and tuneups, and tires. My car cost me $90 for 1 hr labor for an electrical issue that the dealer could not fix. 10 minutes on this forum I found the issue to be the #25 fuse at a cost of 2.50. So My total cost in 122k miles is $92.50.

It makes the noise when you come to a stop and again when you accelerate. Anyone else experiencing this and maybe have a fix? It's driving me crazy.
